The floorplan simulator needs a mouse and a wide screen — tracing a room, setting scale, and placing
speakers don't work well on a phone or tablet. Open this on a computer for the full tool.
Click each corner of the room — press Close Shape when the outline is complete

HOW ARE WE DOING?
A quick rating of the Floorplan Sound Simulation tool helps us make it better.

HOW TO USE
1 · Set up the project
Add a Floor for each storey (+ in the Floors panel) and upload its plan.
Trace each room's outline to create a Zone, then Set Scale from any known dimension (a door ≈ 0.9 m works).
Rename floors/zones by double-clicking their names.
2 · Design the sound
Drag speakers from the sidebar (or Browse All) onto the plan — they snap to walls; set each one's mounting height and rotation in Properties.
SPL Map shows predicted coverage per band (Low 20–250 Hz, Mid 250 Hz–4 kHz, High 4–20 kHz), Room Modes shows bass peaks/nulls, Set MLP + Reflections finds first-reflection points, and Detect Furniture (AI) adds occlusion. Open 3D for the waterfall view.
3 · Complete the system
In Amplification & Source, pick the streamer/amplifier yourself or press Suggest System (AI) — a ⚠ marks zones still missing speakers, sub, amp or streamer.
Set Rack marks each floor's head-end: cable runs are estimated from it (drag to move, double-click to remove).
Record measured RT60/NC per zone in Room Acoustics after calibration.
4 · Price & deliver
Price the BOQ in the app: select a speaker for its unit-price field, and click the rack marker to price amps, streamers and cabling. BOQ Excel exports the priced, branded quotation.
Export Report builds the client PDF: indexed, floor/zone BOQ with totals, SPL maps, signal flows, 3D views and the commissioning checklist.
Share sends an editable copy; everything autosaves locally.
